This week, I finished all my classes at Law School (and what better way to finish it than to be in my favourite law course to date — Health and Medical Law). Amidst all the champagne bottle popping, valedictory dinners and general feeling of excitement and anticipation among the graduating class, I celebrated privately, taking one of my best friends to a small restaurant where we wined, dined and sampled unknown drinks right off the menu until our bellies exploded with both food and feelings of achievement and content.
It’s been a long journey, and I must admit going into this final year at Law School I was unsure how I felt. I love my university, felt a little sad and apprehensive at leaving it to the new kiddies to run an institution which has been so good to me. But life moves on, and a new generation comes through to inherit a rich legacy of education, self-discovery and the opportunity to form life long friendships. As for me? It is time that I move on.
As my final assessments and graduation in December comes closer, I look towards it with excitement. Excitement for what future brings and whatever comes my way. I have created the strongest friendships, grown as a person and my mind has been instilled with the knowledge that there is much out there in the world I can do; all I need to do is look and be a willing student.
Thank you for everything,

Kym Huynh
